The Hudson Fisheries trust, Inc. , a New York Not-for Profit corporation,  began operations  September 15, 1997 and is recognized by the IRS as a 501 (C)(3) organization.

The purpose of the Corporation is to carry out and fund the activities enumerated in the certificate of incorporation and Bylaws.

All such activities concern the protection, enhancement and sustainable use of the Hudson river, its fisheries,   its watershed and associated waters, for the benefit of the public as a whole
